Enjoy a Lunch @ Living Life

Carol Ford and Walter Southall joined attendees of the Living Life Centre for their monthly Luncheon Club in February.

‘The lunch club is open to all, and its aim is to provide cheap and tasty food to local people who may be vulnerable and also to give them an opportunity to socialise in a safe and welcome setting’ said Vicki Henderson-Thynne, Social Support and Volunteer Co-ordinator.  Visitors can play bingo, do quizzes and chat, play board games, play cards or just eat and go.

Attending the club costs £2.50 which includes a main meal and dessert, plus a free cup of tea, coffee or a soft drink.  The club runs on the first and third Thursday of every month, starting at noon, at the Living Life Centre, 90-92 Lothian Road, Middlesbrough.

For more information contact Vicki Henderson-Thynne on 01642 217399.
